The artifact presented required me to develop an evaluation proposal and communicate it for approval. Much time was spent articulating the evaluation approach, the logic model and the evaluation plan. It presented an unique opportunity for me to exercise my communication skills to deliver the evaluation concepts to my intended audience.

Evaluation assist to measure the effectiveness of a program or instructional module,  and should be included in any design and development process. This step is necessary to determine the effectiveness of the performance intervention, and also to use the evaluation data to make adjustments to the performance intervention if necessary. The artifect selected highlights the various procedures and methodologies that were used to develop a complete approach to evaluating a military physical fitness program.

The artifact exhibit includes an Executive Summary which exercises my ability to summarise a lengthy proposal to highlight the main crucial points. This skill to me has always been one of the most challenging communication task because it is somethime difficult to briefly summarise a proposal that is like 60 to a 100 pages long to merely 1 page!

I would say that I am moderately skilled in communicating effective, because I believe that there is always room for improvement when we are dealing with a delicate skill such as language and articulation skills.
